This is my Panom Yeerum site. For those who don't know, Panom Yeerum (also known as Tony Jaa), is the Thai fighter that played the character, Ting, in the movie Ong Bak.
Panom Yeerum was born in 1976 in Surin, a province in the northeast part of Thailand. He was a stunt double in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997), before coming out as the main character in Ong Bak. He is also in production of a movie called Sword, to be released in 2006.
Ong Bak - The Thai Warrior
If you haven't seen Ong Bak, and you like good martial arts, you're missing out. This movie amazed me, there are parts you will have to rewind several times to comprehend moves he does.

The Protector
I first saw the imported version of this movie, Tom Yum Goong, which came out several months before the American version.
The main character, Kham, goes to Australia to find his stolen elephant. There are some incredible fighting scenes in this movie, especially the one at the end, where he fights a room full of foes, and demonstrates different arm and leg breaks.

Tom Yum Goong
While the 2-Disc American version of The Protector is great for all the added features, die-hard Tony Jaa fans will want the original Thai version. It was best to view it with in the Thai language it was filmed in.
